Patron of our school
St.Edmund Campion:(1540-1581)
Edmund Campion was a favourite at the court of Queen Elizabeth and one of the most brilliant scholars at Oxford.

When he was convinced that the church of Elizabeth was a betrayal of the old religion he became a catholic jesuit priest and revolted against the persecution of Catholics. When he was hanged by Tyburn by Queen Elizabeth his last prayer was for the Queen "a long quiet reign with all prosperity".

Our patron St.Edmund campion was hanged and the circular rope signifies his martyrdom.

The cross inside the circle symbolises sacrifice.

The first letters of Campion Higher Secondary School -CHS- stand for Character,Holiness and Sportsmanship.

The Letters DS in the centre is an abbreviation of the motto of the Montfort Brothers -"Dieu Seul".Interpreted it means "God Alone".
The school motto "Cur Hic Statis" means "why stand ye here?"(What is the purpose of your being here?)
